Position overview
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused technician to provide technical support and IT solutions to our clients. This role combines help desk, remote, and on-site support across a variety of technologies in a fast-paced MSP environment.
What you'll do
- Respond to client requests by phone, email, and remote management tools while meeting service expectations.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, printers, networks, firewalls, and mobile devices remotely and on site.
- Support cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection, MFA, email security, vulnerability remediation, and security awareness.
- Install, configure, and maintain client hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Manage routine patching, backups, and system monitoring.
- Resolve issues involving Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, Wi-Fi, and cloud services.
- Set up user accounts, workstations, and equipment for onboarding and offboarding.
- Document work clearly, escalate complex issues, and keep clients informed.
- Continue developing technical skills through training, certifications, and self-directed learning.
- Travel to client sites within the local service area as needed.
What we're looking for
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service, and documentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with a team, and manage multiple priorities.
- A professional, customer-focused attitude and appearance.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft are preferred, but not required.
